This piece really stands out to me. Maybe it's the lighting composition or the angle of the gun/face that I don't see used as much. And the helmet doesn't seem like typical robo-solider. It seems way more mech-like to me, which is unique. Great job!

Very cool design! Just thought I would say this though, that if the visor already has what looks like a built in scope or some such,
then does that not make the scope on the rifle obsolete? Just a personal observation...

Check out the real world FAMAS FELIN system; a "scope" atop a gun is not necessarily a scope, but could be a gun-mounted camera linked to a digital HUD within the helmet itself. This system allows French infantry to fire accurately on targets from behind cover, without unnecessary shenanigans like "bendy straw" guns.
